An experienced guide with an excellent
rapport with children will walk them through the streets of this
celebrated neighborhood and show what he's talking about as he tells
his tales.
Your kids follow the path of Grandpa when he was a little boy growing
up in the Lower East Side. They’ll see where he lived, what he ate,
where he prayed and went to school. As they retrace his footsteps,
their grandfather’s life will come alive before their eyes. Genuine
tenement artifacts such as a 1900’s soda “machine”, a coal oven and
a set of old-time playing cards from Grandpa’s days, will make old
times feel real.
Half the tour is indoors and includes a visit to
a NYC landmark synagogue.
Tour is suited for children 9 and older.
